Casca // Peel, 2018

Fixed to the walls of Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal, thinly peeled sheets of clay are positioned to subtly exist on its crumbling surfaces. Created using a tool that was made during my stay at ESAD, the sheets possess unique surfaces that liken to the textures within these decaying surfaces. The objects are placed as a form of patch- to illustrate the repair these objects could create.
